Hi! I’m Sherri, an award-winning magazine writer and editor with experience in marketing and communications, a love of science, training in environmental and conservation issues, and familiarity working and teaching in a higher education setting.
At both the undergraduate and graduate levels, my academic programs combined environmental science/environmental studies with journalism and communications.
I’ve published environmental literary journals filled with essays, poetry, and profiles, and university magazines consisting of feature stories, articles, and news writing. I’ve taught higher ed courses in writing, publishing, journalism, communications, and public relations.
My goal is to use my communications skills and environmental focus to advance the public understanding of vital environmental issues.
